About Manhattan Metals

OUR STORY

A Simple Thought.

“I missed having a gold mill.”

Last year while at a conference, I mentioned to Bill that I missed our days in the Yukon. Not the Yukon itself but producing gold, building something from nothing and creating something of value. So, Bill being Bill found a mill and we started again – this time as Manhattan Metals Corp.

Every great story starts with a simple thought. Our start actually began many years ago in the Yukon when gold prices were low and gold stocks were out of favor. We made a decision to move the company forward at a high-grade outcrop, using metallurgy to guide us and extract the gold-bearing ore. Our thought, if we can’t do this ourselves, we really are in the wrong business.

Our original plan was to ship the bulk sample material, but China was our only option, so we made the decision to build our own plant and run things locally. The result was a 50 ton-per-day (tpd) mill that produced gold in a closed loop system, without discharging water and without the use of chemicals. We built a great team out of nothing, no cash, no market interest at the time, we extracted rocks at 40 below, trucked them across a frozen river and into the mill we built and improved over time. We poured dore bars from concentrate #1, we built a secondary recovery unit to process concentrate #2 instead of shipping it to a smelter. We made coins from our gold.

And now, Manhattan Metals brings together a group of people with diverse skills and abilities, operating under a vision to build our 300 tpd mill, utilize our assets in a different model to the drill and finance approach. We want to produce gold at our mill, presently planned to be relocated to a site with the necessary infrastructure and resources to feed the mill. We also added a 20 tpd mill for very high-grade material that will reside next to the 300 tpd mill. We are also building up our project portfolio to feed the mill.

Manhattan Metals is focused on doing things the way they used to be done – extracting gold-bearing ore, processing it, and producing gold – to create value for shareholders. With a revenue-based model that operates a gold mill, it is our plan to feed the mill through a series of high-grade gold projects with less than the going standard of 1 million ounce deposits. And then, our revenue can also advance large-scale lower grade projects beyond the ability of a small mill. And all operations will strategically be located in a mining-friendly jurisdiction.

So here we are, at the beginning of our new journey, now in Nevada, simply because of a simple thought…I missed having a gold mill.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Manhattan Metals different from other companies?

Rather than relying on the traditional exploration, Manhattan Metals’ strategy is centered around a revenue-generation model with our 300 TPD gold mill and 20 TPD gold mill.

  • Generate Near-Term Revenue

Generate near-term revenue by processing high-grade deposits typically ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 ounces of gold. These projects have the potential to generate cash flow while requiring substantially less capital than traditional mine developments.

  • Large-Scale Exploration Projects

Advancing gold exploration projects with potential for expansion.

The Manhattan Mill allows us to generate future revenue from smaller high-grade projects owned by the Company. Our 100% ownership of the Mill coupled with numerous feed projects to generate near-term revenue means that we can then use that cash flow to advance larger-scale projects.

The Manhattan Metals team is presently assessing sites to relocate the mill with suitable infrastructure including power, water, roads, access to labor and projects. While the team accesses sites we are also active with our exploration (feeder) projects and preparing all the necessary documentation to work on a go-public transaction.

The mill has a 300 ton-per-day (“TPD”) capacity and a 20 TPD gold mill to be utilized for higher grade projects and testing alternate environmentally-responsible lixiviants.

Current plan is to go public in 2026 on the TSX Venture Exchange through an IPO. This is subject to review of the qualifying transaction and other documents by regulatory authorities.

Nevada benefits from a long history of mining with established infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and a stable regulatory environment with strong health, safety, and environmental standards, making it one of the most attractive mining jurisdictions globally.

Because modern gold mining is increasingly focused on deposits with the potential to contain millions of ounces. Smaller deposits cannot justify the significant capital required to build a mine or large-scale mill. Consequently, many smaller high-grade gold & silver deposits remain overlooked as major producers continue to prioritize large-scale, lower-grade mine development. A lack of access to regional mills has left numerous opportunities throughout the state undeveloped despite their high grades.
