Nathan Tewalt

Advisor

Mr. Tewalt is an economic geologist with over 40 years of exploration experience in gold, silver, uranium and base metals with his preferred area of experience and expertise in Nevada. This early work focused primarily on gold, silver and copper exploration and included the discovery of the Montanore copper-silver deposit in Montana.

Between 1992 and 1996, while working on the Carlin Trend for FMC Gold, Mr. Tewalt was able to produce the first exploration model for the targeting of deeper gold mineralization at Rossi (Storm Mine) based on detailed mapping in the area. This work led to the first targeting of the high-grade gold zones at depths of 1,000 to 1,500 feet below surface. The Storm deposit was later mined by the Meridian Gold – Barrick Gold JV.

In 1997, as CEO of newly formed Great Basin Gold, Mr. Tewalt and his exploration team targeted and subsequently found high-grade feeder veins at Ivanhoe (Hollister Mine) on the northern Carlin Trend. These “Midas Style” selenide veins were later mined in several campaigns by Great Basin Gold and Hecla Mining.

In 2003, anticipating a rise in uranium prices, Mr. Tewalt formed a private company to assemble uranium resource properties in the southwestern U.S., which became Standard Uranium in 2004. As the uranium market strengthened, he led the company’s shift from exploration to production through the acquisition of the Palangana deposit and Hobson processing plant in South Texas and brought on ISR pioneer Dr. Dennis Stover to lead operations. Standard Uranium was acquired by Energy Metals Corp.

Mr. Tewalt has been involved in precious and base metal discoveries throughout his career, including Rock Lake (Montanore, Montana, 1984), Lincoln Mine and satellite discoveries (California’s Mother Lode, 1988–1990), Storm (Carlin Trend, Nevada, 1994), Hollister (Northern Nevada Rift, Nevada, 1998), and Cordero (Gallium resource, 2001). He has served as President and CEO of Great Basin Gold, Standard Uranium, Colombian Mines, Nevgold Resources, Wolfpack Gold, and Silver Predator. He is currently Chairman of Silver Predator Corp., a consultant for Galleon Gold and co-owner of Troy Resources LLC.

William Utterback, MSc

Advisor
Mr. Utterback has enjoyed an unparalleled career of more than 50 years and counting working on a number of world class gold and molybdenum deposits. He spent most of his career with AMAX at the Climax mine in Colorado before heading to Washington state where he headed up the exploration efforts at the Mount Tolman Molybdenum Copper deposit.

Mr. Utterback stepped away from AMAX for 4 years while he stayed at Mount Tolman to head up the Colville Confederated Tribe’s Geology department. In 1986, he returned to AMAX as Chief Geologist for the famous Sleeper Mine in northern Nevada. Utterback has authored numerous technical articles on each of these assignments and is recognized as an expert on both porphyry molybdenum copper deposits and epithermal bonanza gold systems. After the Sleeper mine closed, he started his consulting service and worked on many gold deposits, primarily in Nevada, including the Hollister, Goldbanks, Sandman, Tenmile, Mountain View, Hog Ranch, Midas, Keystone, Jessup, Fireball Ridge, Silver Bow, Lantern, Ellendale and the Quartz Mountain deposit in Oregon. He has also consulted on various projects in and around the Sleeper mine.
